  1. Ooh, Animal Farm is SUCH an amazing book; I just know that you'll love it. And I have been dying to read Marie Antoinette: A Journey myself; I have always been slightly obsessed with Marie!! :)

  2. Haha I was looking at your list and got all excited because I thought I'd read most of them...but then realized I'm lame and just saw them as movies. :P Except Animal Farm. I actually read that one!

I hope you had a fantastic weekend!

  3. Oh, 'A Series of Unfortunate Events,' is delightfully bleak and odd and disturbing, I do adore it, the characters are some of the most beautiful and strange I have ever encountered. <3

'I still play that song on repeat when I'm in my room late at night and I can't sleep because I'm filled with my own sadness and I'm sinking in my own melancholy.'
^Dearest, this makes an inner part of me flinch because I've done exactly the same with that song many an evening. I understand you so well, I do hope you shall always keep your uniqueness but manage to shake off your chains of sadness; because I am positive you will do amazing things. <3

  4. I like the sound of the book on Mary Antoinette and I hope you love the Orwell. There's so much more to him than 1984. If you haven't read Homage to Catalonia I can recommend that too.
