A Year

July 5th 2009 6:36 pm

I vividly saw the person that I wanted to be, lucid crystal in my mind. But it did not match the character that I saw in the mirror. I wanted to change. I wanted to be the person that I imagined but how? Can any of us control the way that we evolve? Can any of us plan out significant events that we impact us and alter who we are? How can you solidify the image, become the person you want to be? From an ethereal thought into physical reality? How? Can you control what happens to you? Can you control the intensity of the impact or how hard you’re shoved, pushed, ejected? Can you control the trauma and the damage, can you control which bruises develop? Who creates the journey, the path? Who says how it’s to be traveled? By foot or comfortably in a car with heated seats?

  2. Hmmmm. I think that you decide your own path in life and you decide how to handle all the bumps along the way. In the end, its all up to you.

  4. You might be thrown into circumstances, but it's you who decides what to do with the time/talents/places you're given and put in, and who decides to turn your life into a thing of beauty.
